Kid Stop
The ALSM Kid Stop program offers care for school-age children (kindergarten through age 12) for before- and after- school, and full time on school vacation days, including summer. The program provides an interesting, challenging and safe environment for school-age children, and peace of mind for you. Our quality, faith-based care focuses on the whole child and their age-appropriate learning and developmental needs. We offer Kid Stops in Bedford and Johnstown.
Kid Stops staff are educated, participate in ongoing professional development and have experience with children. Additionally, they are certified in pediatric first aid and have state-mandated clearances.
All of our Kid Stop locations are certified by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning, a division of the Department of Human Services.
All of our sites have at least a STAR 3 (out of 4) rating through the PA Keystone STARS, a voluntary statewide quality initiative program.
