Growing Years Early Learning Centers
Our Early Learning Centers are located in Bedford and Johnstown provide child care services from birth through age five in a secure, educational environment.

Active learning experiences, field trips, playground and other outdoor activity time and rest periods promote each child’s overall development during days filled with learning, laughter and personal expression. Each location offers something different, but all include well-trained, professional staff to deliver the age-appropriate activities in infant/toddler learning areas and preschool classrooms to help children learn and stay busy.
The Bedford location offers:
- Full-day child care for eligible families with infants and toddlers.
- Full-day preschool services for children three and four year-old with before and after school care for eligible families.
The Johnstown location offers:
- Full-day child care and part-day preschool programs for children 3 and 4 years old
- Child care and preschool services for newborns to kindergarten age
All child care team members have education training, ongoing professional development and experience with children. They are also certified in pediatric first aid and have state-mandated clearances.
All of our Growing Years locations are certified by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning, a division of the Department of Human Services.
All of our sites have at least a STAR 3 (out of 4) rating through the PA Keystone STARS, a voluntary statewide quality initiative program.
Financial assistance is available to those who meet income guidelines through Early Learning Resource Center and United Way scholarships (Bedford County only).
